The challenge

A document-heavy, pre-revenue business

Carbon project development is highly technical, document-heavy, and pre-revenue for long periods of time. Every project requires translating complex field realities into the language of standards, monitoring plans, and buyer due diligence.

For EcoGaia, that meant cross-referencing methodology requirements by hand across every project and standard, catching gaps in early-stage PDDs only after significant work was already done, and rewriting the same project information into a slightly different format for every RFP.

“For a developer managing multiple projects across different geographies and standards, the bottleneck is not knowledge. It is the ability to organize that knowledge and reuse it efficiently without losing technical rigor.”

Genvision's solution

A single platform for PDDs, compliance, and RFPs

1

Building a strong PDD

Before

The team opened a blank document and made structural decisions from scratch - how to frame additionality arguments, which sections to prioritize, how to map project data to methodology requirements. For each new project type or standard, that process started over.

After

EcoGaia provided the project information and Genvision produced a complete PDD, fully structured and ready for expert review. No blank page, no structural decisions, no first-draft assembly work.

2

Reducing VVB review cycles

Before

Compliance gaps surfaced during external VVB review - after the document was already considered ready for submission. Finding a missing baseline calculation at that stage meant rework, delays, and another review cycle.

After

Before submitting, EcoGaia ran the draft through Compliance Check. It flagged gaps and inconsistencies and suggested how to address them against methodology requirements and scientific literature. The team arrived at VVB submission with issues already resolved.

3

Responding to RFPs automatically

Before

Each new RFP, investor request, or due diligence process required the team to locate the right project information, rewrite it to match the buyer's format, and verify consistency across documents. The same content got reformatted repeatedly.

After

Project and company knowledge was structured once inside Genvision. When a new RFP arrived, the platform automatically populated a complete response in the buyer's format. The team's job was to send it, not build it.

Genvision helped us organize information, cross-check methodologies, prepare documents, respond to RFPs, and keep everything consistent across standards, buyers, investors, and validators.
